The Nintendo DSi is the newest member of the Nintendo DS family of handheld game systems that Nintendo introduced in North America in April 2009. The Nintendo DSi includes many new features including the ability to download new software titles from the Nintendo DSi Shop.

In order to post Flipnotes on the Flipnote Hatena website you need to use the Flipnote Studio software (free of charge) for the Nintendo DSi. If you don't already have a Nintendo DSi please consider purchasing one if you'd like to use our service.

One fun part of Flipnote Studio is Flipnote Hatena, which allows you to connect to the Internet to see other people's Flipnotes and upload your own for everyone to see.

Flipnotes that you upload to Flipnote Hatena from your Nintendo DSi can be viewed on the Internet on the Flipnote Hatena website. Flipnote Hatena allows you to add typed comments and stars to the Flipnotes that you like, or to use Flipnotes in your blog or website and opens a whole new world of possibilities for your Flipnote animations!
