What exactly are tropical rainforests?
They're forests with tall trees, a warm climate and loads of rain.
Where are they located?

Why does it rain so frequently?
It rains heavily in the afternoon because the sun warms up the air above it.The currents of warm air rise and then cool. The water vapour then condenses, forms clouds and rains. This is called convectional rain and occurs regularly in the tropical rainforest.

Emergent 125ft (38m)
