Many people don't seem to know what a furry really is, so let me explain:

It's actually very simple. A furry is a person who is a fan of anthropomorphized animal characters(think Looney Tunes, Balto, The Fox and the Hound, and such). Any animal character that can at least talk, or has human characteristics, is anthropomorphized. You don't have to categorize yourself as a furry if you like those things, though. You can enjoy those characters, but not want anything to do with the fandom. Being a member of the Furry Fandom is a matter of choice.
