yes, this is a dumb, overplayed cliche. that's on purpose. it's satire, both toward the [blank] while you [blank] meme as well as to spin-offs in general

there are gazillions of "how to make purple" flipnotes around. i honestly didn't think anyone DIDN'T know already. but for those asking, it's just like making gray; only instead of black and white, use blue and red.

as has been pointed out, the placement of the small logo is off, compared to the real spin-off marker.
